A New Class AAA Affiliation with the Nationals Announced

A member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Michael E. Goldak is an economics graduate from William & Mary College. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in accounting at the college, Michael Eugene Goldak is an avid reader and a lover of sports - mainly baseball and basketball. For two years, he competed on the college’s baseball team.

In the third week of November, the Rochester Red Wings baseball team disclosed a new affiliation with the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball. A member of the National League East Division, the Washington Nationals play in Washington, D.C. This affiliation is the result of unceremonious jettisoning of the minor league team by the Minnesota Twins. The Rochester Red Wings had been affiliated with the Minnesota Twins since 2003.

The recent affiliation with Nationals secured a future space for Rochester in Triple A baseball.
